Dress Code

At SC Dance, our dress code was established to promote the student's freedom of movement, and facilitate instructors' observation of correct technique and form.

There are 4 components to our dress code:

  • Clothing
  • Hair - Long hair must pulled back in a bun or ponytail secured away from the face. Short hair must be neat and away from the face.
  • Shoes - only Bloch or Capezio dance shoes are allowed.
  • Dance bag - see below

Adhering to the dress code is very important. If your child does not comply with all components of the dress code, he/she may be asked to observe class.
