What Is SCD Company?

The SCD Company is a great and fun way for our students to perform more than once a year. They attend numerous competitions and conventions through out the year, as well as travel to NYC and L.A. in the summers to train with the nations top instructors. They participate in The Debbie Collins Memorial Scholarship Show every November and have performed in many other community events. This year the SCD Company performed at the Oklahoma Centennial Parade that aired LIVE on PBS.

Former Company members have gone on to major in dance at The University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University, University of Central Oklahoma, Arizona State University, Texas A&M and South Eastern University. Other students have gone on to perform in New York City and earn a year long scholarship at the EDGE Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

How Do I Join?

Any student who will be in the 1st grade as of Sept. 1st and has had at least 1 year of ballet training is eligible to audition for Company. Boys do not have to take ballet. You must be enrolled for the next dance year BEFORE you audition. Please refer to the audition schedule listed on the right for the appropriate date and time.

At auditions, you must turn in your signed parental consent/outside activities form, along with a $15 audition fee. Acrobat is required to view the form. Download it by clicking on the icon below if you don't have it.
